Sales Policy

We are quite attached to our goats and will be looking for homes that suit each specific animal. We want you to be happy with your purchase and will do what we can to ensure that you are. As goats are herd animals we will not sell an individual animal to a home where there are no other goats.

Our goats will be in good health, and free of disease or injury at the time of pick-up. After leaving our premises we will not be held responsible for the well-being of the animal as stress can cause considerable health issues and, again, we have no control over the feeding and caring of the animal at this point.

Vet checks can be arranged before the animal leaving at the purchaser's expense.

Our commitment and support does not end upon the pick-up of your animal. If we can assist you in making your goat journey a success we would be more than happy to do so.

Please ask if you have any questions - if we do not have an answer we will try to point you in the right direction to get the answers you need.

Waiting List & Reservations

If you are interested in a particular breeding and wish to be added to our waiting list please let us know.

Reservations will not be taken until a week after the kids have been born . For reservations we require a half payment as deposit to hold the goat. The deposit is non-refundable unless we cannot provide you with what you requested. Changing your mind will result in loss of the deposit. We reserve the right to decide to retain or refuse sale on any animals. If we decide to retain or refuse to sell an animal the deposit will be refunded.

Wethers are $175 each. Bucklings and doelings are priced according to the breeding

Bucklings must be picked up at 8 weeks of age. Doelings must be picked up at 12 weeks of age unless alternate arrangements are made with us or if we feel that a kid is not yet ready and will benefit from further time with its dam. Short term board may be arranged and a daily board fee will be charged. If no arrangements have been made for board and the animal is not picked up by the agreed upon date, the deposit will be forfeit and we will advertise the animal as available for sale.

Older goats, once deposit has been paid, must be picked up and paid in full at time of pick up within 1 week of deposit being paid. If your goat stays longer than that you may be charged for additional board unless otherwise agreed upon.

Health

Once goats have left our property we can not be responsible for the health of your goat. All of our goats are sold with full disclosure of any known health conditions. Kids are not sold unless they are in perfect health. We cannot take goats back due to biosecurity standards. You are responsible for any vet bills, illnesses or deaths that occur after our goats have left the property.

All bucklings and doelings will be registered, disbudded, tattooed, vaccinated and have been given Baycox prior to leaving.

Wethers will be disbudded, vaccinated and given Baycox prior to leaving.

We do our best to disbud but cannot guarantee that an animal will not end up with scurs. It will be the responsibility of the owner to deal with any further issues with scurs and to do any booster vaccinations.

Registration paperwork will be sent in within two months of purchase.
